About Stacey
Stacey is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the American Driving Society (ADS), and the Carriage Association of American (CAA), where she is a Level 2 Instructor. She is part of the USEF Developing Athlete Program for Combined Driving.
Managing and operating a full service boarding and training facility in Brecksville, Ohio on her 7th generation inherited farm, Stacey Giere is a seasoned trainer and equine enthusiast to the bone. Stacey is a fierce competitor who truly focuses on each equine's potential and individual development. She is at times brutally honest with owners and students which allows for quality of communication though-out.
Stacey attended Ohio State University, where she received a BS in Education, focusing on PE K-12. She then pursued a MA in Education for physical and mental disabilities. Both of her degrees continue to open doors and new pathways for her teaching and training around the country.
Stacey's focus has developed from riding hunter jumpers, to breed show accomplishments, to combined driving and the pleasure driving world, with championship titles in all. Even though she loves to compete, her focus is on training, exposure and quality skill building for the equine athletes and their owners. Stacey focuses on helping students make safe and skill appropriate decisions.
To add to her other accolades, Stacey has recently been accepted as an Evaluator for USEF driving for the Para Athletes. She is honored to be among such an incredible team of equestrians from all over the world.
